Birding Safaris on the Zambezi River

The Zambezi National Park is home to around 400 different species of birds, making this national park a birder’s paradise. The Zambezi river runs through this park giving life to so many birdlife. On a birding tour, our experienced guide will tours you to locate birdlife located on the Zambezi River, it also generates a wide range of other localized southeast-African species found nowhere else. The Zambezi is a vast river with its various corridors and island houses splits a wide and variety of bird species. Birds habit along the banks  with common species being the Blacksmith lapwing, Goliath Heron, Sacred and Glossy Ibis, Egyptian and Spurwing Goose, Water Thick-knee, Pygmy, Giant and Pied Kingfishers, African Fish Eagle and a whole host of others.
